Xmage crashes whenever I try to tap a land

Hi everyone,

New to the forums and trying to get xMage to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried to play online with a friend, as well as against the AI and whenever I try to tap a land to pay the cost to cast, my land card quickly flickers- "taps then untaps" and I am not able to do anything else afterwards. It will usually freeze and I am not able to skip to the next turn.

I read a fix online to try and check and uncheck "use first mana" when you right click on the battlefield under the mana payment tool, but that doesn't work.

I have installed and reinstalled xMage a few times and I get the same result.

I have window 10 installed.

Xmage version is 1.4.15v5.

Any help or a link to an already existing thread on this would be much appreciated.
