Pull request: Custom Key Binding
by ekendra » 20 Oct 2016, 04:57
One of my programming students finished all of his assessments for the year and needed things to do. He's brilliant with Java so he added custom key binding to the preference menu so that users can now replace the F keys with their own bindings. I've tested it and it works.
The pull request is sitting there in Github and is fully compatible with 1.4.16_v3 (2016-10-09)

If you appreciate his effort, please merge his code and give him some thanks here so I can encourage him.

Nice work and a very welcome addition. it's merged to the main repository.
Maybe he can add two little things if some time is left:
1) If I set a KEY that is already used for another actions, set these other action to Key = <nothing>.
2) In the preferences add a button to reset the controls back to their default values.
Feel free to give him more tasks, we appreciate his work.
