Bug Reports XMage 1.4.1.17 INSTALLING / LAUNCHER / JAVA

Please report here any problems/bugs you have while installing or updating XMage.

Best add information what exactly you do and exactly what error message or reaction of the system you get.

It's always a good thing to post also the error message from the xmage_launcher.log file in launcher directory, if any error is written to the log concerning the problem.

Known problems:

JAVA
Java gives the following error message:
Java :: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005)

XMage Launcher
It's important to quit the XMage Client before updating. If you update, while the XMage Client (or local XMage Server) is active, the update will fail. The update runs, but at the end, the version is not updated.

I can't connect to Xmage.de 1 with the new version. (tells me that 1.4.16v3 is expected)

LevelX: That's normal, because the server is not updated until the daily restart (13:00 CET).

Tried to install 1.4.1.17, the download occurs and Xmage reports no errors, but when the launcher refreshes it says that I'm still on 1.4.1.16v3 without being able to use 1.4.1.17

But what if the client is **not** open, and it fails? I''ve tried numerous times to update, and the same thing always happens -- cycles back to informing me that the update is available. It looks like it's downloading, but not installing?

I was having the same issue with downloading the update and it always needing an update. I tried a manual installation and was having errors because of a card art downloading process. I restarted my computer and update download and installation was a success.

I'm trying to install Xmage but every time I try it just says:

When I switch to the "Beta" branch in the settings it will download and run but that's only for version 1.4.12v0(2016-05-29) which doesn't have Kaladesh so I can't practice standard. What can I do to fix this?

Hello! I need help! I can't get Xmage online to save my life. This is the problem I'm having.

Reading config from xmage.de/xmage/config.json
Error reading confix from xmage.de/xmage/config.json
Possible causes: Site is offline or internet connection is unavailable.

My internet connection is active and I have the latest version of java installed. Please someone help. I want to play magic so bad!
