Custom cards for custom set testing
by gkasza » 04 Apr 2017, 15:51
Hello guys,
Im currently working on my own imaginary set, my question or interest is implementing it into Xmage, is it possible? how could I share? How can i create a custom card from scratch in xmage? I have light programming background, but im proficent with datebases.
Thanks in advance,
Gergely

Each card is implemented separately. For example, one of the current devs implemented the star wars custom set by himself pretty much (a fairly massive job actually). Each card is coded separately as a new .java file. Tbh, there is very little database work involved in development on xmage. There is an embedded database in the server and client which is basically set and forget - aka it gets recreated if it's not there and that's about it.
