Xmage and torrents

Hello dudes

I have a question about xmage software: when I was configuring my xmage I saw some torrent configurations, like:
xmage.torrent.downrate=0
xmage.torrent.uprate=50
xmage.torrent.use=false

The question is: there is anything related by xmage and torrent? For instance, the plataform of xmage have internally any torrent plataform?

Where I'm right now I can't use torrents, so I'm concerned about it.

There is only torrenting if you explictly tell XMage to use it. I believe it's an option for when updating XMage that you can enter in a torrent URL? Either way, nothing in the application forces you to use torrenting with it. You would need to explictly specify that you want to use it and provide the details of the torrent to do so.
