Stuck in an infinite loop of 'First time Installation"?

Hey, so I'm getting an error when I try to open XMage. I recently built a new machine, and I'm trying to install for the first time. I downloaded Java, and everything is istalliing correctly. I'm just confused.

Instead of using the launcher, go to the directory where you installed XMage and run the startMage batch file. See if that works.

can confirm this does not work (going through the directory) - this is a bug due to a new java link/update
I can't get it to work for me either
