Getting an error when trying to host a Duel Commander match. It says Balance is banned, but in actuality it is not banned.

You can use them as colorless but not as another color... And this is something that changed in some latest version cause before it working correct.

Quite easy.... You put chandra down and cast bolas or tamiyo they have 3 color dots. You have oath of nissa.

Let's say you click any 2 lands it will cut down the colorless and a color. Then if you click in your pool it won't accept the RED mana from chandra to cast the 2 colored pips left.

P.S. I use the don't use mana automatically option. Maybe if that is turned on it works normally. But clicking manually the RED mana on your pool can't be used to cast colored pips on walkers as normal with oath of nissa.

I could make a video or screenshot if you want but it's easy to reproduce.

Edit: I reproduced it. It seems if you have auto use mana pool it works as intended but if you disable the auto use you can't click and use the red mana.

It's probably impossible to discard aftermath cards with Cabal Therapy. I wanted to name Driven // Despair against my opponent, the only option i had to name was Driven - and when i did that, he didn't discard the card.

jeffwadsworth: A bug report has been submitted.

Altered Ego copied a Zombie token created by Scarad god. A 4/4 token that his original stats were 6/5.
Altered EGo as per the oracle rules copies the original stats of the token but in the game it copied the 4/4 stats.

Here is the official rules from the gatherer.

If the chosen creature is a token, Altered Ego copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that put the token onto the battlefield. Altered Ego isn’t a token.

Now if i understand wrong and what it says is it copies the 4/4 stats plz delete this topic.

jeffwadsworth: You are mistaken. 4/4 is the original characteristic of the token when it was put into play by the Scarab God. The original stats do not apply.

I could not cast a card that was taken by Nicol Bolas today.

My opponent has Nicol Bolas on the field. Uses the +2 to exile/cast my Stormchaser Mage. I then Unsummon the Stormchaser to return it to my hand, where it is uncastable for the rest of the game.

jeffwadsworth: I tested this multiple times and it worked for me. If you see it again, please save the game log.

escplan9: The banlist used is the one for multi-player EDH still: http://mtgcommander.net/rules.php and Balance is banned there.

That list is not correct, because I am talking about the Duel Commander format specifically. Their banlist is here: http://www.duelcommander.com/banlist/

It was working fine before the last XMage update.

In the game that just happened, I was not able to pay for Condescend (X=1), even though I had 1 mana available. See screenshot with error message. This happened again later in the game with Mana Leak too.

The create macro button is awesome, but there is a bug related to it. I used it to create a macro using Cartel Aristocrat to sacrifice Geralf's Messenger infinitely because I had Solemnity on the battlefield. It correctly looped through, draining my opponent for 2 each time until I won.

The bug was when the next game started. It did not allow me to choose whether or not to mulligan, it just kept my hand even though it was a very bad hand that I did not want to keep. Then it skipped past my whole first turn as well. It's almost like it had a skip to my turn set, even though I did not.

You're not allowed to activate mana abilities during the cast to pay for the Join Forces effect.

Every aftermath card crashes the game.

I don't know if i should be posting this in this post but since the latest update alot of matches just freeze randomly and i have seen other people talk about it in the chat. Just wanted to let the devs know about it.

Breath of Fury does not work properly:

After a creature deals combat damage to a player; you are prompted to chose another creature it could enchant, when you do, Breath of Fury goes immediately to the graveyard instead of moving to the new permanent.

With reference to https://github.com/magefree/mage/issues/3070 it happened today the same thing to me with 1.4.24v3 so i can confirm this is a bug as Bomat Courier goes first to graveyard, its ability triggers, then it is returned to hand if the opponent choose so as for Pia's Revolution.

Because a changeling is every creature type, it should always get a counter if you have a Metallic Mimic on the battlefield, but when I choose Sphinx and then casted a Mistform Ultimus, it didn't get a counter. I tried it again with a few other changelings and all of them did not get the counter.

Aurum: All changelings, creatures with all creature types, and subtypes in general have been reworked and are now working as intended, coming up in the next release.

Thing in the ice doesn't flip when Solemnity is on the battlefield but does wait till 4 noncreature spells are cast.
