If you have encountered any problems while using XMage 1.4.26 you can post them here.
Please mention who you were playing against: Human or the AI type.
Please describe how you got to that point. A screenshot of the battlefield at the moment something went wrong will be useful too. Otherwise, naming the cards that interacted will suffice. If you get an error log please add that too. Also often does a gamelog file from the mage-client/gamelogs/ folder help to reproduce the problem.



  1. Please use a separate post for each problem/bug.
  2. Don't report here problems concerning to install, start or connect xmage. Only game related problems of using xmage.
  3. Don't report here cards you would like to see implemented. Please report those card requests here:

* C17 Enchantment Curses - Fixed a bug that could create game errors (index out of bounds).
* Fixed a problem that table waiting dialog was not closed if the table was closed by the table creator.

Penny Dreadful EDH not working. Get a 'Deck Type Commander needs also a Commander Game Type'.

Kindred Dominance is Wasitora, Nekoru Queen (in function) instead of choosing a creature type and destroying creatures not of the chosen creature type.

Planeswalker uniqueness rules doesn't seem to apply the newer rule concerning the planeswalkers Gideon where you can choose which planeswalker to keep. Instead it removes the last played Gideon.

I found this while having

Gideon of the Trials in play

and then casting Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

Once cast this Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, is automatically removed. (as was so per the old rule)

LevelX: Can't reproduce this. In my test I'm asked which planeswalker to keep.

Animate Dead (enchanting Gisa and Geralf) stayed on the battlefield after I cast Supreme Verdict. It was just hovering over nothing. Then later I cast Upheaval, and it went back to my opponent's hand.

After update, its ask me to downgrade my client from 1.4.26V0 to 1.4.25V0 when I try to connect to localhost, whereas other servers connections still working...

LevelX: Your're still running the old server. Probably you did not stop the server before updating. Kill the server job with process manager or restart your system and try again.

I was playing against AI.

With Solemnity in play, I've cast Oracle of Bones and the AI could pay the tribute cost.
So I was left with a 3/1 creature with no counters and no option to cast a sorcery in my hand.

from Gatherer's website about Solemnity:
14/07/2017 If a creature with tribute is entering the battlefield, the chosen opponent can’t pay tribute even if he or she wants to.

When I try and connect to a local server, I get the message:

Unable to connect. Wrong client version 1.4.26V0 expecting version 1.4.25V0 please download needed version.

When I try and connect to a public server, it just says "Could not connect", no error message or anything.

I just updated it today and am running it on Mac OSX 10.12.5. Until the update it worked perfectly fine.

LevelX: Your're still running the old server. Probably you did not stop the server before updating. Kill the server job with process manager or restart your system and try again.

If I have a popup window open (like the graveyard for example), then I cast a tutor effect (Demonic Tutor or whatever), if the previous window is in the way of the new popup (for the tutor), it is partially blocked and there's no way to move the first window. Therefore there's a portion of my deck that I can't select for the tutor.

I've been playing Burning Inquiry lately, and it appears that the discards are not very random at all. It never discards the first two cards in my hand and tends to just discard things I draw, or maybe the last card or two in my hand (furthest to the right).

jeffwadsworth: The card code uses a standard Java random number generator.

This is the most surreal and funny bug i've ever experienced anywhere :D
Since yesterday, everytime i win a rated game... i lose rating points, the oposite happens when i lose, my rating increases :D

LevelX: Probably caused by a bug in match end condition check. Should be fixed with server restart on 2017-08-19 for public servers or beyond 1.4.26V1.

Fungal Behemoth retains haste after the turn it comes into play when suspended.

LevelX: As far as I understand that's correct. The haste from suspend is no copiable ability of the creature. But as we also show given abilities to creatures, the haste is still shown.

Assembled Alphas did not deal 3 damage to a blocked creature nor to its controller.
