I found an strange behavior with card images.
In sum: images with size
ratio 1.39 shows well (i.e. 233x311), images with
1.40 ratio shows bad (i.e. 265x370).
Ratio 1.39 images shows complete and with corners (if has transparency, also). Ratio 1.40 shows "cutted", like "zoom cutted" from the original card image, that removes the outer zone from the card image.
Hope these caps explain better:
Image showing bad in Xmage and his real details (note that the image really has transparent corners):

So I tested to cut from 265x370 to 265x369 the image (so "converting it" to 1.39 ratio then) and now shows transparent corners and whole image size, not the strange cutted zoom. Must clarify, resolution is not the problem, is the resultant ratio (tested!).
The problem is that 265x370 is very common size (and 1.40 ratio then) because is the Wizards default spoiler size, so many sets downloaded with the "Images" option or another sources are showing bad!
Will post in the issue tracker.
