Card images mixed! Help please!

Postby redman929 » 16 Sep 2017, 23:16

I just downloaded the update, then the card images all over again. (I had to move xmage to a diff folder because it froze during update first time around) Now I have a lifelink cat card as Mountain and more shenanigans, please help! How can I fix this?

Update: Non-Ixalan lands seem to be the only cards effected, strangely.

I have been having the same problems with both lands and nonlands. It seems that most of the affected cards are old ones.

I downloaded card images but for some reason in the deck editor, Viewer, and Amonkhet zip file (AKH.zip), Cartouche of Knowledge is Censor and Cryptic Serpent is Cartouche of Knowledge. Need help to fix it.

If you downloaded the card images via scryfall, then you would all have the error as stated. delete your downloaded card images and re download from the other sources.

I used scryfall for the high res downloads of all the cards but the names get populated with the wrong image file in the downloaded zips. Once I deleted all scryfall downloads and then re downloaded missing images from the wizards source, the error was gone.

This is a problem when using scryfall as an image source in xmage and hopefully the developers can fix this.

Deleted image file to redownload while avoiding scryfall and now I can't download any images at all.

The download images window just says "Check which images are missing..." indefinitely without progress.

Fully reinstalled Java and xmage. Problem still persists.

I think now the latest version of xmage 1.4.26V8 (2017-11-04) is the reason why images wont download. Mine stalls at checking and never brings up the menu to choose sources for images.

So I ran my old backup of xmage from 2017-05-21. Updated that to latest version from yesterday and re downloaded all of the cards from scryfall. All seems to be working now with really high res images.

EDIT: Seems like modern and legacy cards are still all messed up. For example in Mirage the Phyrexian Dreadnought has Savage Twister for the image and Savage Twister has a Swamp for its image.

Most cards in the Standard format sets seem okay though so far
