Remove The ability for trolls like NotNotNot to stop games

this guy - first wouldn't quit after his opponent had lethal attackers.

Then he jammed out next game

and in the final he started spectating and repeatedly sent view hand requests until i was locked out of the game.

I know there will always be sad losers like that but maybe the devs could like at a way to minimise the affect they can have on people who just want to play a few games.

If we, as a community, can't stop this kind of thing then xmage is doomed to be screwed up by these idiots.

You can do /ignore person (which won't help while you're in the game). But there's now (in 1.4.28v0) an option in the create table window or the create tournament window to prevent spectators.

Yes have done that it's helped. It's a pity xmage is open to trolling so easily and there is no easy way around it as such but great to see the new releases coming out. I think it plays better than mtgo IMHO. Once crashes and lagging are ironed out it will be an oustanding platform. Fair play to dev team!

You can generally deactivate the possibility to allow such requests to show your hand in the preferences. Only switch it on for the time you are really intent to allow a spectator/player to see your hand.
