Collectible Card Game Headquarters

So I've had xmage on this cpu and my previous one and used it a lot for quite a long time with no problems until suddenly recently a got on it after several months and it needed an update and when I update, it said "xmage not found". I deleted the folder and downloaded a new launcher but now it always tells me that it looks like its my first time opening it and when I let the file update and download, it still says "xmage not found". I couldn't find any good answers online, so hopefully one will exist here

So, I looked at the link and downloaded the test pack, but nothing changed. Is it just true that noone know what causes this problem or how to fix it?
