This java version makes the game just about unplayable

Maybe it is just me, but even when I give my game 8GB of ram (I have a dual core xeon with 48GB of ram), the damn game still lags like crazy. The java running takes a lot of my resources. Way more than it should. I tried playing tonight and I lagged out of so many turns and so many disconnects, it was crazy. It wasn't my internet because everything else I had going on worked fine. The java or whatever is powering this game software wise needs reverted to an older version because this sucks.
