newbie - google hangout + competition?

..veeeeeeery new guy here. I managed to download and install Xmage on my mac under parallels (win10 VM .. I like to keep my mac "clean"). I've played a few games against the computer but i'm floundering. any other newbie want to walk and talk through a few games via google hangouts (or Skype, or..).
