Java Issues
by ttuk » 04 May 2019, 08:26
When game starts or in the middle of a draft I receive the following error:
[xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue
[xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called
[xcb] Aborting, sorry about that.
java: ../../src/xcb_io.c:259: poll_for_event: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost' failed.
I am running it on Ubuntu, any suggestions on how to handle it?

It's an system problem, not xmage. Maybe incompatible combination of java and other software.
Try that:
1. If you run xmage by command line/file (not by launcher) then update system java to latest java 8 version;
2. Try to disable all sounds in xmage's preferences menu.
