Bug Reports XMage 1.4.36 SOFTWARE

If you have encountered any problems while using XMage 1.4.36 you can post them here.
Please mention who you were playing against: Human or the AI type.
Please describe how you got to that point. A screenshot of the battlefield at the moment something went wrong will be useful too. Otherwise, naming the cards that interacted will suffice. If you get an error log please add that too. Also often does a gamelog file from the mage-client/gamelogs/ folder help to reproduce the problem.



  1. Please use a separate post for each problem/bug.
  2. Don't report here problems concerning to install, start or connect xmage. Only game related problems of using xmage.
  3. Don't report here cards you would like to see implemented. Please report those card requests here:

Wonderful, one of the most hyped cards and it's bugged... Scale Up removes static abilities from the creatures, at least it does for infect.

It was bugged on beta server, but was fixed before today's release. Current versions (36v0) works fine with it:

Hello, I noticed a bug with the newly added card "Seasoned Pyromancer". When you play the card while only having 1 card in hand, the game demands a selection of 2 cards which results in a state of being locked in the selection for the cards to discard, since you can only select 1 card obviously.

It happened with the release version. I mean, it's supposed to not remove them. We're on the same page?

Thank for report, I've got it. Now it will works fine (lose color/types, but keep abilities).

Fist of all, I want to really thank the devs for all their work, I so happy about the new Oathbreaker Variant!

In the Oathbreaker Variant, when I play a signature spell, the game asks whether I want to put it into the Command Zone instead of the graveyard. However this isn't optional, the spell should always be put into the Command Zone upon resolution (see rule 9 https://weirdcards.org/oathbreaker-rules).

Also, (at least as I understand the rules) the additional cost to cast a signature spell can be reduced be cost reduction effects such as Affinity (e.g. Thoughtcast), just as with the Commander's tax (see for example Karador, Ghost Chieftain's gatherer entry). Currently, the tax is added after the reduction (see attached image).

Searching of Libraries in Commander game modes causes a player to disconnect and then reconnect and passing the ability.

Ephemerate returns the target creature to play tapped instead of untapped.
Which is a pity, since it blinks instantly whereas most blink cards return the permanents to play at end of turn, so you could use Ephemerate as a combat trick, untapping an otherwise tapped creature, if it worked correctly.

Minor typographical errors

Essence Sliver - Duplicate "its controller": Whenever a Sliver deals damage, its controllerits controller gains that much life.
Magma Sliver - Redundant "all": Target Sliver creature gets +1/+0 for each all Sliver creatures

Seasoned Pyromancer is now fixed when you have fewer than 2 cards in hand, however, he now demands all cards to be discarded at all times. This does not matter when the cards in hand are 2 or less or course, but I also had situations where I had four cards in hand and had to discard them all (also generating 3 or more tokens, which should not work that way)

Amorphous Axe gives my creature Changeling, but isn't actually making it every creature type. Specifically, it isn't counting as a sliver to pick up the sliver abilities I control.
