Bug Reports XMage 1.4.37 SOFTWARE

If you have encountered any problems while using XMage 1.4.37 you can post them here.
Please mention who you were playing against: Human or the AI type.
Please describe how you got to that point. A screenshot of the battlefield at the moment something went wrong will be useful too. Otherwise, naming the cards that interacted will suffice. If you get an error log please add that too. Also often does a gamelog file from the mage-client/gamelogs/ folder help to reproduce the problem.



  1. Please use a separate post for each problem/bug.
  2. Don't report here problems concerning to install, start or connect xmage. Only game related problems of using xmage.
  3. Don't report here cards you would like to see implemented. Please report those card requests here:

Look here before you post and describe a problem. Often the problems are already fixed and you only have to wait for the next update. If your problem is already mentioned as solved, there is no need to post it in this thread again.

Mystic Forge is letting you see the card underneath the top one you're casting as early as you're clicking on the top card and paying the cost. This should be prevented.

Flood of Tears does nothing (at least when cast from exile).

Devs: will be fixed in 37v2+

In a 4 player commander game, another player disconnected and left xmage while their commander was on the field. Much later, I cast a board wipe and the game stalled with the disconnected player given priority during the wipe's resolution. I assume this was to give them an option to move the commander back to the command zone. Obviously this shouldn't happen if they aren't in the game anymore.

Was in a 4 player commander game, player 2 conceded and left ( no issue) player 3 disconnects and his cards are left on the board. When, trying to board wipe his commander which is on the board tries to prompt a player that isn't there to put it into graveyard or command zone and the game is stuck. This happens with any interaction that requires the disconnected player to press something, and ruins games. The player never times out not after 5 minute, nor after any timer of say 30 or whatever you set. It has been a bug forever, and is often maliciously used by players who are not in a favorable position to try and ruin the game as they leave. Please, please, please, fix this.

Soulherder can currently target itself, while the text says "another" creature.

Masterful Replication mode 2 doesn't work. It just turns the target artifact into a copy of itself.

That's ok -- storm triggers for any spells, even for 0 storm count (e.g. it's triggers on new spell, but resolves with 0 copies -- cause no spells before).

I had Marchesa, the Black Rose and couple of other creatures. All had +1/+1 counters on them.

An opponent casted Living Death and only Marchesa returned at the next end step.

The triggered ability from Junk Diver seems to allow targeting itself, although it says "another target artifact card".
In a game against AI, the AI player did just this (see image), however the ability fizzeled (not part of the screenshot).

Playing against humans, got an error several (at least 2) spells after casting Repeated Reverberation and then trying to activate planeswalker loyalty abilities. I'd post the error here, but the forum software thinks it's a banned off-site URL.
