Bug Reports XMage 1.4.39 SOFTWARE

If you have encountered any problems while using XMage 1.4.39 you can post them here.
Please mention who you were playing against: Human or the AI type.
Please describe how you got to that point. A screenshot of the battlefield at the moment something went wrong will be useful too. Otherwise, naming the cards that interacted will suffice. If you get an error log please add that too. Also often does a gamelog file from the mage-client/gamelogs/ folder help to reproduce the problem.



  1. Please use a separate post for each problem/bug.
  2. Don't report here problems concerning to install, start or connect xmage. Only game related problems of using xmage.

Kenrith, the Returned King's black effect gives life to target creature rather than bringing them from the graveyard to the battlefield.

Syr Konrad, the Grim doesn't work as intended, it deals damage to opponents whenever a creature leaves ANY graveyard instead of just the controller's graveyard, this just came up in a 4 player commander game (see attachment)

Hi,

"Watcher for Tomorrow" doesnt work properly when it's exiled (it works when it's sent to graveyard though). The trigger that adds hidden card to your hand goes onto the stack but the card isnt added to your hand when it resolves.

Fixed in the next release.

Improbable Alliance doesn't seem to be making faeries if your second card a turn is part of a spell or effect that draws more than one card. It worked fine when I drew a second card on my turn, but failed when I drew two on an opponents turn (Witching Well activation) and when I drew four extra cards (Into the Story) on my turn.

Golos, Tireless Pilgrim should be colorless (with a WUBRG colored identity) but it's WUBRG on the battlefield natively in xmage so was unable to block a creature equipped with Sword of Feast and Famine.

Draw step ( don`t know if it happens when you draw the first card because other reasons)

When the copy spell ability of Kefnet copies the instant Accummuled Knowledge(AK).

You cast the copy, in response to the copy you cast the original AK.

Then both spells just not "resolve", the copy disapears and the original goes to graveyard.

Update: It looks like it just doesn't work after the first token, so it's far more broken than I originally guessed.

The AI continuously uses the flip condition of Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant during the instant phase. I think there need to be a "3 times used but didn't activate so do don't do it again this phase" feature.

When Wall of Stolen Identity entered the battlefield, I tried copying Kefnet, God Eternal and the game threw me an error, said it would rollback my action but instead just skipped to the next phase.

Fixed in the next release.

Still no adventures?

Code it like so:

split card (like fire/ice etc)
side 1 is instant/sorcery. if cast goes to exile (like light up the stage, but remove the 2 turn factor)
side 2 is a creature that has the if statement of 1) has adventure been cast 2) is in the players hand.

AI opponents take proportionally longer to accept actions that add counters the more counters already on/added to a target. This leads me to believe that the action of adding counters is done on an individual basis and 'considered' by the AI before being ok'd and moving onto the next rather than being done in a batch.

EG: Doubling (tripling) the counters on Heroes' Bane will take longer for the AI to accept on each operation. Test done with Doubling Season in play.

A bug involving Mesmeric Fiend and Thoughtpicker Witch. Mesmeric fiend trigger goes on the stack. Sacrifice the Mesmeric Fiend to the Thoughtpicker Witch. Thoughtpicker Witch and Mesmeric Fiend both trigger normally. The bug occurs when trying to resolve Mesmeric Fiends enter the battlefield ability. The trigger doesn't resolve and the turn gets rolled back to the beginning.
The error logs are attached.

Fixed in the next version.
