US server password/registration

Are there any plans for the US server to implement user passwords/registrations anytime soon?
The past few weeks have seen a few players/trolls going around using other's account user name, or making multiple accounts that are imitating the user name of another account - for the express purpose of spewing racist hatespeech on the chat. This is leading to people mistakenly ignoring other players, and leading to players unaware of what is happening attacking other unaware players.
