Reconnect after disconnecting

Hi. New here.

Just recently started playing with some friends on Xmage.de server and I am loving the platform.

My only problem is when a friend of mine loses connection. He automatically loses the game with no way or option to reconnect. Is there a way to fix this? His internet is unstable, so there is no way to fix it.

Ps. Searched the forums but did not find answers regarding this topic. Sorry if I missed a common question.

What I have to do is:
a) Turn off wifi
b) Exit xmage (usually I have to close it via task manager)
c) Turn on wifi
d) Relaunch xmage

When xmage boots it should pop you back into any games you were active in if you follow these steps
