Xmage Error Message "Ping Failed" then Disconnect

Greetings. I use xmage often and I regularly get an error message mid match that says "Ping Failed" and it disconnects me from xmage (and quits the match i'm in).

The server does not go down, I just get disconnected.

Does anyone have a fix to this?

My apologies I'm not the most tech savvy. I searched Ping issues and found that some other applications can see this issue with their firewall settings, but otherwise it seems like an network connection issue (slowing then disconnects.)

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm sorry. I'm not very tech aware. Other apps may be able to detect this problem with their firewall settings, according to my search for Ping difficulties, but otherwise it seems to be a network connection issue (slowing then disconnects).
