I haven't been able to bring up the popups that tells you how many counters a card has on it since 8.6. is this problem just on my end or have they been disabled?

My workaround for the ai passing then hanging is to reconnect with another client with the same name this works fine in general unless its a draft.

Insectile Aberration still looks at the top card of your library like it should while it is Delver of Secrets.

also, I tried to use Qasali Pridemage to destroy a One-Eyed Scarecrow, an artifact creature, and couldn't. Destroy artifact can destroy artifact creatures, right?

I will check this. And no, tooltips should work for you. There was a bug with that tooltips option. Uncheck it and save your options. The reopen the options dialog and check it back. I think this should fix it.

ai has Knight of Glory Bird of Paradise Avacyn's Pilgrim and Sublime Archangel in play and attacks with angel alone and it only goes to 7/6 not 9/8.

Now it fixed.
If it was saying something like "ClassCastException : ***** can't be cast to ******", then it has been fixed.hans2 wrote:server crashed when i was casting mortapod

Couldn't get Mental Misstep to counter anything tried Bird of Paradise and Rancor.
Hmm oddly today it cast Avacyn Pilgrim and I mistepped it no problem so no idea what was happening yesterday will keep an eye on it.

Hi,
today I installed the 0.9Dev version and I have to say I like the new interface a lot.
I created two M13 decks and played a match against the AI.
I faced the following bugs:
With Arms Dealer and also with Turn to Slag I wasn't able to target opponent creatures. I could only target my own creatures.
The activated ability of Ring of Xathrid and also of Ring of Evos Isle could be used without beeing equipped. I'm pretty sure, that's not possible to use this abilities without beeing equipped (but I'm not up to date with latest rule changes).
Edit: The next match I could target opponent creatures with Turn to Slag. So there must be an additional condition, that causes the problem.
Edit2: Seems to be caused by Ring of Evos Isle, that hexproofed the equipped creature also when the hexproof ability is not activated.

Thanks for the report. It is now fixed. The "GainAbilityAttachedEffect" does not work correctly in these cases. If the activated ability was activated with no creature attached, the effect would stay on until the end of turn. So any creature equipped within the same turn would be granted the ability. Now, the ability is granted specifically to an equipped creature, etc. Works fine.
Also, you can activate the ability even if the card has no attached creature. It is not a targeted ability, it merely checks to see if any creature is attached.
