New To Shandalar and the modding stuff.

Hi,

I am sure this has been asked before, but I have read through quite a few of the post so far, and I am a little confused. I have an ROG Ally, and I used this post: Microprose Magic the Gathering 2010 Custom Installer ISO

I have it downloaded, installed and updated the game per the directions on the post. I have it running. Here is where I am a bit lost, I see patches which I have read are card updates. I have watched YouTube and seen that the latest is I am assuming modern with a card update from Oct 22, as far as I can tell at least.

I also seen a Manalink 3.0, I have searched, and I guess I am not finding the right info. Is there a link of how to install the 3.0 and the new patch files (Do I have to install all or just the latest one). I am an older gamer and some of the new modding stuff is a little beyond my knowledge to just be able to pick up and run with.

I installed the folders I downloaded from the link but don't see the card sets, do you have a youtube video that shows how to install the updates?

Which file did you download from which link? There are 3 links there for 3 different installations.
What do you mean you don't see the card sets?

This is the link I used. Honestly, I have probably screwed it up. I am only slightly computer savy, I was able to load and install the game and Manalink 2.0 update which I got from one of the installation post. And what I mean by deck sets are the newer cards, I don't know why I said card sets.

I guess maybe I should just play what I have. Just was wanting all the newer sets, thought all I had to do was download and move the files over. Is there anyone that can do like a team viewer or something and show me what's what?

That's all you had to do if you installed the full install. We don't have any newer sets than those in that install. You can check all cards included in the deck builder. The latest sets we have are
CMR, STX and MH2.
