Big Thanks for Shandalar

Thank you guys for sharing your shandalar port.
I'm a big fan of it when it came out, and have been waiting for someone to have this run on newer systems for ages
It works perfectly on windows xp. I'm Having trouble running it on my laptop under windows 7 home edition though.(everything works except shandalar!).

But I'm not complaining, I would just like to share my appreciation for all the work you've put in this. You guys are my heroes

I second this sentiment. I have the original CD and tried loading it recently. After some difficulty, I stumbled onto this site and got the modified package which all worked without a hitch. Thanks so much to the team that has put effort into getting this game working on newer systems.

Thanks guys. For a possible fix to run Shandalar in windows 7, try disabling DEP: viewtopic.php?f=76&t=5182

Indeed, thanks for the support! I didn't do the game fixes themselves, other talented people are to be thanked for that. But I'll tell ya, building the installer package, the ISO package and the included new tutorial viewer was long and nerve-racking event in themselves, so I can just image what the others went through to "git'er dun!"
