Everything runs great except when i play 8th ed, in a sealed or duel match, anytime i try to fetch a land using an artifact or actual fetchland the game freezes, the hourglass appears next to the pointer and that's it, until i force close. I read a few posts talking about similar problems, like with the fetchlands, but didn't see a fix. I read all readme's, installed everything correctly and replaced new card art. Can anyone can direct me to a solution?
There isn't one at this precise moment. I'm currently looking into the 'Fetch Land' problem, with a view to hopefully providing a fix in the next CardArt Update. But, as always, there are no guarantees.

I'm also hoping the artifact you are referring to is not Wayfarer's Bauble - as we believed we'd found a solution to that card sometime back, and haven't had any complaints since. :?

Is it possible that the fix is in the one and only update which he misses.

That would most probably fix the artifact problem, in which I suspect he maybe referring to Wayfarer's Bauble.

Although there was a report sometime back, which I've now found, of a similar problem with the Fetch Lands.
Now on closer inspection I've found the common cvs parameter in all the cards that use the 'Search your library for a land card' rule, only one of the Fetch Lands had the parameter set correctly.

As you probably know yourself - a lot of these problems with the ISO game have proved to be problematic due to them only appearing on individual PC setups and not always related to the Window's OS - there seems to be no pattern. When I originally rebuilt the CardArt folder, and corrected some of the format errors in the manalink.csv, after the initial ISO release, a lot of the problems only some people were experiencing seemingly disappeared.

I’m hoping this may case with the Fetch Lands. They play OK for me whether the Manalink csv parameter is corrected or not – but changing the value may help on other PC setups. I’m just checking to make sure changing the parameter doesn’t create other unforeseen problems where they do work.

I'd hardly rate myself as an expert. Remember when you asked me how I went about resolving the problems (check page 10). [-o<

Try this freebie - Free Download Manager: http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/download.htm

Very useful and doesn't seem to be tracker fussy.

Well if the 'Fetch Land' fix doesn't work, you could always play with Terramorphic Expanse - and it doesn't suffer the 'Pay 1 life' penalty cost either.

Hello, I'm using Windows 7 64-bit installing to the default directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\MagicTG) and I can't launch the launcher or Shandalar yet everything else works fine. Anyone else run into this problem and if so how do I fix it?
