(I am still reasonably confident that the similar macros I've been using for spells and activated abilities will be sufficient for Deflection/Rings of Brighthearth/etc.)

Oh my. You've certainly outdone yourself; bravo.
I've added art for your list above (minus the C16 cards - still can't find art for those), as well as the following for testing:
- | Open
- Rings of Brighthearth
Illusionist's Bracers
Strionic Resonator
Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient
Stifle
Trickbind
Misdirection
Deflection (Improved art)
Divert
Imp's Mischief
Muck Drubb
Psychic Battle
Rebound
Reroute
Ricochet Trap
Shunt
Spellskite (Improved art)
Swerve
Willbender
Grip of Chaos
Spelljack
Commandeer
Wild Ricochet
Goblin Flectomancer
-Please let me know if I'm missing anything-
Will this also affect Radiate and the like? eg.

Deflection-like effects are a still a good ways away, and I didn't mean to imply otherwise. I still have to rewrite all the remaining MicroProse cards that use the targeting system, or should use it but don't.
The first category I can mostly just write wrappers for instead of fully rewriting, and I've actually done so for the Auras' enchant clauses. Whimsy is problematic in that the legal targets for each of its modes varies fairly widely.
Most of the cards in the second and third categories are damage prevention or redirection, so are waiting on that to work even vaguely correctly under modern rules. (I have some idea how to make it do so for the human player, but I'd expect the AI to deal with it much worse than the current system.) Of the remainder, Oubliette is implemented as an Aura; Darkpact targets the player, selecting a specific card during resolution; and Vesuvan Doppelganger targets during initial casting.
The fourth category is much smaller than I'd expected. Mana Clash is an easy rewrite, as is the targeting part of Tempest Efreet (its "from anywhere" clause is a totally different story). These are also the same cards that are blocking effects that give a player shroud or hexproof or protection, like Leyline of Sanctity and Seht's Tiger.
edit: strikethrough a couple rewritten

Some cards on the coded list are flagged as uncoded by PDA using Cards.dat GG1 patch archive even if they are working properly (Fairgrounds Trumpeter for eg.), shall we disregard this?

The "CODED CARD" column in Manalink.csv is the data for Manalink. That's not the same as for Shandalar. As of Gemcutter's Guild, there's 1711 cards in Shandalar but not Manalink, and 3757 vice-versa.

Heads up for this update - the art for Curtains' Call is mistitled as "Curtain's Call" Please rename this file (ie. move the apostrophe) in CardArtManalink for this card to display correctly.
Likewise, Conqueror's Flail is mistitled "Conquerer's Flail," and must be renamed to display correctly.
Or, you may instead just delete them and download the new high-quality art from here: https://mega.nz/#F!OEd0SQgJ!DCtJJ7gqoV080bJKD7KObQ
This is all, of course, cosmetic only and will not affect gameplay.
EDIT: Thanks to Aswan Jaguar for finding these

Just a quick post to give thanks. This is my favorite update yet. I've been playing everyday, for longer than I usually play, and with the same enemy decks I've been playtesting for about a year. I have other newer games that I enjoy, but they aren't getting played. Thank you for posting this just in time for the holidays. Merry Merry ho ho!

I had this bug: I had Masticore and few times I couldn't respond and regenerate it.The last time it happened it was targeted by an Acidic Slime 's etb ability. Is this a trigger/stack thing that you mention in this post or another kind of bug not known to report to bug-tracker.
