Hi everyone
First of all, let me say how awesome this project is! I just discovered that Shandalar is still alive and I'm totally excited!
Anyway, I'm running wine 1.6.2 on Ubuntu 16.04. The good news: Deck.exe, FaceMaker.exe and Magic.exe all work flawlessly.
The bad news: Shandalar.exe just segfaults without even an error message.
Has anybody had any success getting this to run in Linux? Any tips you'd be willing to share?

I am no linux user but from what I have read people run it successfully through a virtual machine but a lot more difficult to impossible to do so from wine.See these links:
