I was wondering why I cant get my Shandalar to work, after installing the manalink 2.0.
Is it incompatible, or what do I have to do to activate? I have magic.exe, magiclimtited.exe, shandalar.exe, its quite confusing. I can get into shandalar but the program stop responding when I try looking/editing my deck.

I don't know when this started (since I mostly played Duel or Challenge mode since finding manalink) but as of the newest version (St. Valentine's Day massacre) Shandalar crashes for me whenever I go to edit/sell cards in the village. I know that it was working a few months ago when I last played Shandalar, but I don't know why it stopped working.

I was in this case, exactly same error (deckbuilder opening bug).

Enchanteaur: Not sure what youre trying to say, the link youve provided is for the custom installer, that I already have installed. Please help.

Eventhough no changes have been made to shandalar it just won´t work. easiest would be to have an additional game installed just for shandalar - you won´t miss anything new in there anyways.

i suggest to use the search function for shandalar related topics - somebody made a mod for it if i remember right.

This is my 1st experience on this website and with the new version of Magic. I have played the old version for years and it currently works on my laptop running windows vista just fine, but I have Windows 7 on my desktop and I downloaded and installed the game and I didn't thoroughly test other functions, but they loaded up at least, except for Shandalar. Wouldn't load up at all. (Actually the Magic TG launcher didnt work for me either.) I went in and manually opened the programs and all worked except Shandalar which is the one main function I enjoy. The progression of starting with limited cards and building up from that. I am reading that is a known issue? I don't know what to try. I am and was really excited to see this site by the way. I read that using Mok's version would work, but I downloaded both folders...not sure what to do with them though, there wasn't much instruction in the readme file.

Burned it, installed it. And now I have a separate folder with the Mok folders.

Any advice would be awesome. Again my priority is Shandalar, that's all I used on the old version and am happy with it, but if there's new shnaz for that then cool.

You're the second person I've heard of for which Shandalar doesn't work in Win 7. With so few reports we have no way to troubleshoot it and it works for so many other people. The other guy with your problem ended up running it in Win XP. The other solution is to use our Virtual Machine build.

Nardraug, I don't think Mok's ML 2.0 is the correct patch for the Magic 2010 Custom Installer ISO. Check out the very 1st post on the topic here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2349

I think there is only one correct patch for the custom installer.
