I do appreciate all the work you've done in restoring this game, for that, firstly you deserve an applause.

I recently found out about this and have updated to (what I believe) the latest version of Manalink, which a custom splash and switcher between Limited and the normal set. Unfortunately Shandalar will always crash when it goes into the deckbuilder. I've looked around for anything to fix this, but other than some other people having the same problem, could find no other solution other than having an old version that still was able to run Shandalar. Switching between versions is rather tedious, and I was just wondering if there was anything to help fix this?

Unfortunately Shandalar crash is not fixed yet so you have to rely on the original ML or up to MoK version in order to run it correctly along with another separate Magic folder to make run others versions of ML.

Sorry for necroing this thread but I'm also have the same problem.

@stassy: I'm using MoK version 2.0 but it still suffers the same problem. Do I have to download the new installer from Huggybaby's thread, or I just have to add some file which I don't know where to find it?

It is recommended to install the ISO version to play Shandalar indeed.

Yeah, the only fix I know of is to use an older version. I can't be certain, but I'd wager shandalar was broken at the same time as multiplayer, which happened when we moved from coding in assembler to C++. It's only a guess, though. In any event, the original shandalar works fine, and the community mods don't apply to shandalar, only to duel and sealed deck modes.

Is there any nontorrent version of the file? It seems that both of the files posted on the installer thread are torrent
