Minor mods in modded Shandalar

I have two versions of the now unavailable modded version of Shandalar. One is more advanced than the other (more options in the right-click menu during duels, modern mulligan system, etc.), but the other version has the annoying repetitive sounds of the game disabled selectively. Background music is still playing, but the sounds for clicking something and the walking sounds when travelling have been disabled.
Does anyone know, how I can replicate that in the other version? It might be as simple as deleting the relevant sound files, but I thought I'd check with you guys first.
