How can I not have new cards/art on win10?

I've downloaded the Shandalar 2010 distribution, and while it runs fine, and looks alright, I can't get onboard with new cards and such. Is there a way to play Shandalar on a modern operating system with the original card list from Duels of the Planeswalkers? or better yet, with a complete card-list for the sets included (A/B/U/R, Arabian Nights, The Dark, Legends, Antiquities)?

If it requires manually editing the card lists, I am ok with that assuming someone can point me in the direction of documentation/tutorials.

Basically, I just want to play old school nostalgic Shandalar... and I can't install a working version from the disc I own (even in a Win9x VM).

I thought the 2010 version didn't have any additional cards?

I haven't run across them in a duel, but absorb, abyssal specter, and akroma are immediately there in the deckbuilder. Additionally, most of the cards have the 7th edition or later art, which is pretty meh.

I also have the 2012 version installed, but again, it has later edition art for all the cards (but I haven't checked for new cards).

I have the same question. I want to play with the original cards. Did you get it, gesis?
