Collectible Card Game Headquarters

Ahoy there folks. I have been enjoying playing Shandalar over the last few months, using CirothUngol's "Shandalar 2012 revisited".

So I am now wondering how can I mod Shandalar myself? Examples of things I would like to mod would be:

• Adding new cards. Not thousands, just the rest of Legends/The Dark and adding Fallen Empires, maybe Ice Age and Homelands.
• Changing Dungeon reward cards.
• Allowing you to gain Manalinks from 'defeat a monster' quests.

I have barely any programming experience so I understand I might be out of my depth. But I would love to give it a try! So if anyone can tell me how to get started or can link a guide, I would really appreciate it.

I am probably the least qualified person to answer your questions here, but at the very least, I can share what I believe I know, i.e. answer point 2 of your questions.

You can change dungeon rewards by editing Shandalar.ini in the main folder. Use Notepad++ for this. Dungeon Treasures are selected in the penultimate section of that file.

Unfortunately I can't find it... Looking in Shandalar2012\Program and Shanadalar.ini isn't there

No shandalar.ini in the version that you have which is the original with modifications in UI and cardart only. Only later versions by Korath with extra cards for shandalar (adventure part) have shandalar.ini.
