Shandalar 2015 not running on Windows 11

Hello! I know this issue has been brought up before, but I've encountered some weird anomaly with my installation of Shandalar 2015 from Github and am not exactly sure how to solve it.
In short, the game doesn't run. Specifically, whenever I attempt to run it, it will go through every single individual file in the folder to say that it failed to load, which is different to the usual crash errors I've seen other people reporting. I tried to do the fix with creating an exception for Shandalar in DEP but it doesn't seem to have done anything. I'm not sure if I installed the files wrong or if I'm missing some sort of component needed to run Shandalar on Win 11 that wasn't mentioned on the 2015 Github. If anyone knowledgeable about Shandalar 2015 (and Shandalar on Windows 11 in general) could help me out that'd be super appreciated.

I got it to work in Windows 11 by right-clicking Shandalar.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 7. Hope that helps!
