Shandalar Problem

Postby MorbidAri » 10 Oct 2010, 19:36

I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this question but im having a problem with the Shandalar.exe. When ever I try to start a new game it lets me pick the difficulty and then when I click the color nothing happens. It just keeps clicking the color. The file did have a save on it so it does work for sure. Is there something im doing wrong? If anyone can help me I would be very grateful!

A bit more info, please...
Which exact version and update are you trying to run (ie 2010 ISO, HomeOfTheUnderdogs Install, Manalink 2.0 w/ Newest update, etc.), and what OS environment is trying to run it (ie Win98/2K/XP/Vista/7, Linux/Wine, VirtualMachine, etc.)?
If Shandalar is yer thing, be sure to use the 2010 ISO or the HomeOfTheUnderdogs Install.

Running 64 bit Vista. I'm using the 2010 Iso. The game runs it just wont let me start a new game as it locks in the deck color choice. I have the Iso mounted to a fake drive and that still didn't seem to do it.

I'm assuming Vista 64-bit has the same 32-bit program path as Win7 64-bit.

If so, in Win7 the 'MagicTG' folder has to be installed to ‘C:\Program Files(x86)\’ for the program to work properly.
