Here's a new forum for you

I needed to take the custom installer ISO off of global announcement status, but I didn't know where to put it. Our Global Moderator and my good friend Bog Wraith gave several good reasons why the topic should have its own forum and so here you go.

Thank you Huggy for making this possible, working with me to give Shandalar a forum of it's own.
As you can all see, this forum still shares the same area of CCGHQ with it's other half in ManaLink. If your looking for info and updates for ManaLink, we're right across the street!
The two will always be a part of one another, but with ManaLink's continued progression over the last year or so, Shandalar does not reside within that part of the game anymore.
So welcome all, to this new exclusive forum belonging to one of the greatest and most fun MTG planes ever in existence.
It is remarkable that even without any changes or card additions to this wonderful realm that Sid Meier built oh so many years ago, people continue to gravitate to it and play it again & again. I have played the full campaign more times then I could count and in a myriad of ways.
It is by far, my favourite computer game of all time!
So enjoy yourselves here and share with us your thoughts & experiences within Shandalar and know that you can ask any questions which many here will be glad to help you out with.

Is it possible to "clean" the moved post from the root of the Microprose's Magic: The Gathering section? There are a lot of messy thread like locked thread for informations in it...

There should be no trace of any of the threads that were moved to this location from within the main ManaLink forum, at least I didn't see any at the time of the transfer, nor do I see any now.
Stassy, can you point out which areas you are talking about? If there are any traces, we will certainly remove them.
-----------------------------------------
Edit
I think I know what Stassy means now. There were some Shandalar threads in the "New Users Start Here" & "Decks and Strategy" sub forums of ManaLink. They are now housed here in the Shandalar forum.
If there are any other loose ends, please let us know.
Thanks

Stassy, would you like me to disable the Active Topics listing? I don't know how useful it is.

Well, I don't know why locked threads are tagged as active (though I suspect the action of moving thread as "action") but if it work right they should disappear in favor of real active thread so it's no longer an issue for me.

Stassy, can you point out which locked threads you are referring to, or have they now been removed from the ManaLink forum?
I don't remember seeing any of those when we were doing the initial set up of this new forum. If I missed something, please let me know.

Hum seems to be my last answer got eaten by gremlins, I was just saying that I didn't understand what was the pack of random posts under the Microprose MTG section root (now I know it was the "active topics section").
Usually they are on top of the forum, I am not against it (just though weird a locked topic could be tagged as active).

Search and search the forums as I might, I still managed to miss many of these Shandalar threads. I only made it about half-way through before I thought to post and say:
Thanx BW and HB for makin' the new Shandalar forum... now I'll never miss a thread! ^_^

Thanks CU. It was BW's idea with some help from Sonic. And let's not forget hip63.
