List of Cards

I've installed the game - no additional cards.
SO, I'd like to know if all of these cards are findable in Shandalar?
For example - thieving magpies? Rewind?
I messed with the deck injector, but they didn't seem to inject all of the cards.
It would be nice if the deck editor had a "You can find these cards in Shandalar" button.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to adapt the deck builder in the way you are asking - we have no source code for the game or anybody wanting to take the task on.klye wrote:I've installed the game - no additional cards.

If you downloaded the current update for the ISO, it includes a complete card reference in pdf format that shows which cards are only playable in the dual sections of the game.
Shandalar, unlike the duelling sections, was never developed after the demise of Microprose. So Shandalar is limited by only being able to use the cards that were available in the original 1997 Microprose release.

Exactly. WHAT are the cards that are findable in Shandalar.
You'ld think - being that this is the message board for shandalar - that someone has done the leg work already. Right? Please? I hope so?
And I didn't download the iso version. I used the version from the wiki.
Just kind of frustrating... I make a "target deck" only to find it's not possible. Or at least I think it's not

Like I said:

So regardless of which version you are using, the version in the Wiki, or the ISO, the 'Card Reference' in the ISO download will tell you which cards are playable in Shandalar - and therefore which cards you will be able to find within the Shandalar game itself.
So no, you won't find Thieving Magpie or Rewind in Shandalar, because those cards were added only to the duelling sections of the Wiki and ISO versions, and after 1997 and Microprose's final development of the game.

Ah. I'll download the 110 MG file now. How about making that 5 KB file separate from the entire ISO download? It'd be nice to have the shandalar list handy.
