Drill Instructor

Greetings to everybody!
I've been so enthusiastic being able to play this marvellous game once more!
I just have some question: defeating the last of 5 wizards, I dueled the Drill Instructor (the last boss with 300 lives). The issue is: I can never end this combat! The game just stops because the enemy begin thinking to the next move over and over. I tried even to give him all the time he needed to think (I left my pc on overnight).
Is this a bug? How can I possibly overcome it?
Thanks everybody!

The AI routine for Shandalar is not as polished as it is in the newer Manalink versions. In long duels (usually with lots of stuff on the board) the game often hangs.
I do not think there is much we can do about it.
Btw, the easiest way to win against the final boss on the higher difficulties is to use a poison deck (Marsh Viper, etc.) with ways to make the poison creatures unblockable.

Thank you very much.
I had a Black Deck With Royal Assassin, Nettling Imp and Sengir Vampire and Kabal Ghoul: my Vampire and the Ghould both became 12/12 in a few round and the opponent couldn't do anything to stop my attacks every turn. I was feeling powerfull, then all blocked up XD
