Is there a way to respond to a spell on the stack more than once? I keep trying to Cunning Wish for counterspells but as soon as my Wish resolves so does the spell on the stack and I can't cast my counter.

Milosz006 your version is not Shandalar 2012 but one of Korath's updates of shandalar as Cunning Wish was not part of shandalar 2012. I know that in my dev version this works correctly maybe it even did in one of the latest Korath's updates but I can't test that.

I don't know how his version relates to CirothUngol's version. If you know pls let me know.

I just tried installing 2012. Be sure to install as admin.
I had to select custom install to specify a short install path.
Then the box to select options was empty. I don't remember what's supposed to be in there.
Then I got an error that my machine has a newer redistributable installed.
This isn't going well, rebooting...

I installed this and I was wondering if there was any updated version for windows 10 with updated art and stuff...It is grainy like the original... Also was there a way to put it into windowed mode so I can screen share it through discord and play it while my friends watch along? I noticed when I opened Shandalar 2012 launcher the mods let me select art style but when I load in game it all looks the same..I tried the 16x9 Duel UI & Modern card Frames

Also I remember there being an updated version where we had more recent cards added.....I know one of the developers left but has anyone picked up the reigns?

CirothUngol seems to have left this forum a long time ago. Shandalar 2012 gamma seems to be working stable on my machine. Is this the last stable version? Also, is it possible to install it in a 'vanilla' state, meaning no new card frame, illustrations and no updated oracle text? I don't need these mods, and they seem to be pretty inconsistent anyway. I want experience that is as close to the original as possible, with the exeption of bug fixes.

Earlier versions, such as Manalink 1.3.2 do not work on my machine.

Hi im new here. My pc died and i was trying very hard to run this game on an android phone so i purchased magic dosbox because i thought it would be easy lol. I download the 3rd link that i found the december one i think. It didnt work sadly. I selected the magic the gathering exe file and then the run me 1st bat file but to no avail. Maybe i need to copy the already installed one to my phone for it to work?

I've never heard of magic dosbox.

Its like dosbox but magic dosbox got higher review rating at google play so i chose it

Do you have a file called master.csv in Shandalar 2012 Revisited file? If you do then I possibly have one with old wording to substitute the one you have.
For instance: 0021,Blessing,Enchant Creature,Julie Baroh,|W: Target creature Blessing enchants gets +1/+1 until end of turn.,

I don't think I have the said file in my Shandalar folder. I downloaded the file here: (That's the link to the Google Drive from Mr. CirothUngol sig). After applying some mods, I seem to have been able to restore the original card art and frames. There's no mod or file with the original card text though.

P.S. I just love Shandalar and the only version that seems to work fine on my Win11 machine is this one. However, I would like to play it as close to the original as possible, and modern card text is quite the deterrance. If only there was a mod to restore the original text too.
