Cards at Project Firemind

Postby ember hauler » 04 Oct 2013, 17:42

Hi,

I wonder how often do the cards at Project Firemind database get updated.

I have several decks which are disabled at the moment because some cards are not implemented yet, but those cards are already added to Magarena 1.41 and 1.42.

Usually I try to keep up to date with the stable releases of Magarena here on the forums. Just was a little busy lately and haven't been able to check in. Drop me a PM next time I miss a release (I announce the upgrade on twitter).

I just upgraded Project Firemind to the newest Magarena release. Your decks should be working now.

I've noticed that there's a bug in the deck submission: if the card has a hiatus, the form prevents me to upload, i.e. Maelstrom Wanderer is not accepted.
This is what it says:

1 error prohibited this deck from being saved:
Card not known: MÆlstrom Wanderer

Thanks for reporting this.

Do you copy&paste the name or use the auto-complete feature of the name field? In the second case you should get the correct spelling and the card should be known.

Be it copy&paste the deck list in the form, or upload from file, either way I got the error when I submit the form.
I didn't notice the autocomplete feature, I will try that way.
Thank you!

Edit: seems like there's been a misunderstanding: I was talking about the deck creation, not the card script submission.

You are correct. There was an issue with the "ash"-character being translated when it shouldn't have been.

Maelstrom Wanderer works now in deck lists though I seem to be missing the card image for it...

Thank you!

Seems I'm missing the "Commander's Arsenal" cards.

I've been neglecting the images part a little. I'll see if I can set up a server that keeps up-to-date with the torrents (you still distribute torrents for all the sets correct?) and checks whether some sets are missing from my system. Might even be able to dedicate a server to 24/7 seeding of the scans - if that's of any help to anyone. Or maybe some other way I can give back to the scanning community? Let me know.

I'll be releasing a torrent when M14 is done, that should help you. And if you can help seed, that's always welcome.
