- For more information on how to use the new Import option when upgrading please visit the wiki Getting Started page.
- It is now possible to update the main background image simply by dragging an image file onto the Magarena window. On Windows 7, this has been tested to work both with image files dragged from Explorer and even images dragged directly from the Firefox browser - for loads of amazing backdrops check out http://wall.alphacoders.com/highest_rated.php (it has options to crop/stretch images to suit your resolution). Changing the theme via the Preferences dialog will reset the image.

Version 1.53 UI detailed change log.
- Low quality images updater integrated into the import process.
- Added proxy settings to preferences dialog under new Network tab.
- "missing" cards are now referred to as "unimplemented".
- Revamped download images dialog. New download option for unimplemented cards.
- New preferences setting to view card image at full size (480x680).
- Translucent screen color (was black) is now based on selected theme.
- Added link to Firemind script submission page from script screen [issue 644].
- Click on double-sided or flip card to view other side.
- "Preview card on select only" setting is now enabled by default.
- Sound effects are now on by default.
- "Play Card Animation" setting is now enabled by default.
- Only show "New Cards" status filter in the Deck Editor.
- "More Themes Online" option relocated from Settings menu to preferences dialog.
- fix for issue 638: Missing cards notification message not updated after download.
- fix for issue 628: Not refreshing background after import.
- fix for issue 647: Import incorrectly overwrites default cubes.
- fix for issue 650: Hide cardtable header on Decks screen.
- fix for issue 656: Only have a single Unimplemented Status filter.
- fix for Issue 661: Card animation (should not) play in Text-Mode!

Is it possible that the log can show only the log title.I mean minimise/maximise the log?I know you can turn it off/on but I don't like the transparent I prefer to have it minimised and see the background and maximise it if I want to see what AI did.

Version 1.54 UI Changes
- New tabbed view for Deck Editor (full list of features).
- Turn status prompt displays the player with priority instead of the player whose turn it is. This is a better visual cue that Magarena is waiting for you to do something.
- Avatar of player whose turn it is increased in size.
- Added New Turn visual indicator. New setting in Preferences -> Gameplay -> Visual Cues tab.
- Added new settings that lets you adjust the preview duration of both land and non-land cards when played by AI. See Preferences -> Gameplay -> Visual Cues tab.
- Displays a suitable and definitive "player x is winner" message at the end of a game.
- Text Mode is now only a temporary alternative view during a duel. It has no persistence beyond the current duel.
- Make preferences dialog a bit wider for linux systems where default font is bigger/wider. Add caption to standardize with other dialogs.
- standardize look of decks filter dialog.
- Shift+click or RMB click the action button to skip till end of turn.
- add option to open logs directory from advanced view of game log screen.
- fix for Issue 672: A deck is invalid if it contains the reverse side of a double-faced or flip card.
- fix for Issue 673: Morphed cards card-back not scaling correctly.
- (possible) fix for Issue 320: pt numbers does not appear correctly in UI.
- fix: when a card is associated with a choice always show popup on the right. previously with the large card setting the image was shown above (if available space) and partially off screen.
- fix for issue 681: Increase card popup hotspot area associated with a choice.
- fix for issue 681: refinement that now displays popup for any choice panel without requiring specific update to choice panel.
- fix for issue 672. This addresses the case where the random deck generator was creating decks with hidden cards.
- fix for issue 683: Decks list not sorted correctly when running in linux.
