Collectible Card Game Headquarters

I can't get the installation to work on my mac (macOS 10.15.6 Catalina). I have downloaded Magarena 1.96, unzipped in a new directory, installed Java SE 14 JDK. When I launch the app I get this message:

"Magarena requires the Java SE 8 JDK or later."

I tried also installing a legacy version of Java 8 but it still doesn't work.

Am I being stupid here?

No at all, the launcher script wasn't designed to handle Java SE 14.

What does running 'java -version' return?

Thank you for the quick reply! I managed to find a solution. I clicked Show Package Contents on the app, navigated to Java>Magarena and opened the Magarena.jar file. This launched the game. Excited to play!
