Thanks for the suggestion. I added Wing Shards as Storm card.
The full test deck can now be viewed on the TestDecks Wiki page.
This deck will be used to test the engine while developing it.
The Mad Wizard engine will focus much more on flexibility and then speed.
The Magarena engine mainly focused on AI speed, which limits its capabilities.

This is very interesting, because we (almost) always start coding for the simplest case (hello world), and you're starting with the most complicated!

Yes. I hope that working this way will help drive the design from the start.

As has been noted many times, if you make a Magic engine without allowing for certain complicated interactions from the start, adding them later is going to be a major pain.Huggybaby wrote:This is very interesting, because we (almost) always start coding for the simplest case (hello world), and you're starting with the most complicated!

There is a new release 1.6.
Somehow 4 new cards managed their way in.
Followed Footsteps, Skullclamp, Bellowing Tanglewurm and Hero of Bladehold.
The last two as excellent examples for the added support of intimidate and battle cry keyword abilities.
There is also another UI improvement and some fixes.
Happy 2011!

I made a separate topic for release 1.7.
I will no longer use the sprint format, so next releases will come when they are ready.
