Computer killed itself but not in a bad way

The computer had 2 life and I had 8. I was attacking with a flying 2/3 and the computer had an untapped Goblin Artillery. Instead of letting my creature deal 2 damage, the computer used Goblin Artillery and targeted me. I didn't die since I still had 6 life.

This is sort of a weird bug which isn't a bug at all. It is just something that the computer would do but a human player wouldn't. In a way, I find it very funny.

Here is the screenshot of the ability on the stack before the computer killed itself.

Yes these things can happen with the scoring.
Here the computer sees it is gonna die and prefers to lower your life total to lose with a higher score.
But of course the computer still loses. :D

I don't know what you mean. In my playgroup, players always preferred to go down fighting than to just passively let the opponent kill them. This sounds like exactly the kind of move they'd pull. :P

It may be more realistic than I guessed, ha.
