Request more control for combat resolution

I attacked with one creature, the computer blocked with three. And then auto-killed the weakest opponent (a 1/1) leaving the other two alive. Problem is, I would have killed the 2/1 guy that had deathtouch. Sometimes when this happens I just start the match over it's so frustrating.

I understand that implementing manual damage assignment would probably add too much complexity to the program, so I propose a compromise: allow the player to at least choose the one creature he wants most to kill.

I know there are plenty of ramifications to my oversimplified proposal, but there it is.

Thank you!

Actually, with the new multiple creature blocking rules I believe this is correct. The defending player orders their blockers and damage only spills over if you have assigned lethal damage to the previous blocker.

New rules eh? Dammit. If that's the case, then the AI played it exactly right.

If I'm not wrong, in Magarena the defending player orders the blockers, while in the current rules it should be the attacking player who orders the blockers.

Indeed, according to the rules the attacker declares the order in which lethal damage is assigned to the blockers.
But I like the current approach in Magarena.
