At least people can play the game now, which is what matters the most. :)
Somehow programming and making money go together but it does seem hard. Maybe you have to create a new card game and re-use various parts of Magarena. Or try to computerize a card game a lesser-known card game like Wizard of Oz or Legend of the Five Rings.

It certainly goes well together, but it is not easy with programming games.
I am working on a another project. I will see where it goes. [-o<
Problem with lesser known games is that there is also less potential.

Hey Forge, not sure if you've been sucked into Minecraft, but the author has an "Ask Me Anything" on reddit that you might find interesting:

http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/gjrf4/iama_indie_game_developer_who_made_a_commercially/

One of the most interesting tidbits that came out of the thread is that his revenue is on the level of 20-30 million!!!

Maybe you can get some ideas from what has been successful for him.

I haven't played minecraft but it looks about as interesting to me as Farmville. I could be missing something, but I never really liked the sandbox game concept, since I like my games to have structure and goals.

One interesting thought about making money...
To be able to do that, all your precious time is best spent on the project that will make you money. :D

Well, if it's any consolation, Magarena blows all of the commercial Magic products out of the water.

Minecraft is an enigma to me. I had no idea something so mundane could be so popular.
