How can I change the AI difficult level?
by Gocho2 » 31 Oct 2011, 18:59
I can read in the README:
Is it fixed?
But I can't find an option to select a N for the Monte Carlo AI.Selecting the AI to play against:
The desired AI can be selected in the "New duel" dialog (Arena -> New duel).
Default is minimax. AI difficulty level for the best balance of speed and
strength is the default 6.
The Monte Carlo AI spends at most N seconds to consider each move, where N is
the AI difficulty level. It is the strongest AI available, however it cheats
as it has knowledge of all cards in the game.
The Vegas AI should be fast on all difficulty levels.
Is it fixed?

Welcome to the forum, Gocho2
At the "New Duel" screen (where you see your deck), you'll find a "Duel Progress" widget on the left hand side.
Click on the computer chip icon on the top right of the "Duel Progress" widget and it will switch to a "Difficulty Settings" menu (kinda obscure now that I think about it, we will make it more obvious in the next release).
There are two settings here, the AI difficulty level and the additional life that the AI starts with.

Thanks Melvin. It works.
I don't notice that this icon was a button to change the widget. Maybe a label will make it more obvious.
I'll post more issues after some games
