On the 31st October, we bring you Magarena 1.31. This release includes 131
cards, bug fixes, and improvements to the card script.

Includes contributions from melvin, a. benedict balbuena, kdesmond, and Erkcan Özcan

Changelog:
- added ability "tap pain add mana" to card script
- added ability "combat damage discard random card" to card script
- requires_card_code property can now specify a card name to reuse the card
code for another card, e.g. requires_card_code=Cruel Edict

- fixed: Essence Drain only gains life if target is valid on resolution

As a side news, I've started some work on parsing MTG rules using Parsing Expression Grammar. Looks quite promising so far. The grammar at https://code.google.com/p/magarena/sour ... ar/mtg.peg is able to parse 2116 out of 12545 unique rules text. I'm using Mouse @ http://mousepeg.sourceforge.net/ to generate the parser.

Thanks for the bug report about the crc problem in felt_theme.zip. I just fixed it and another rather serious bug with cards that produce multiple tokens. I've just updated the zip file on the download page.

Are there any potential conflicts caused by running Magarena 1.3x and MAgarena 2012 from the same location, letting them share pics folders etc.?

Sharing pic folder should work as the naming scheme is the same. Not sure if the other folders will conflict though as some of the other config files have changed in Magarena 1.3x.
