Today's update. Pretty minor, but I think I have Momir working again. (i.e. I got through 2 games without a crash) If you download this and it still crashes, please take a screenshot and send it to me.

I had to turn off Palincron to fix Momir, and I have no idea why. I'll see if I can add it back later.

First game, turn 5 Crash.

I'll resume testing tomorrow when I have some time and post any thing new here.

Thanks for the screenshot, it helps, since it lists the error line.
That's the identical error I was getting, and almost always on turn 5. Can you verify that Palincron is turned off in your deck builder? Also, are there any other creatures that have the untap lands ability like Palincron?

Yes, thank you. This is more likely the real problem at 5 mana. Next time I get a change to make an update, I'll rewrite the code for these 2 cards, and hopefully that will solve the Momir issue.

Yes, Palinchron is in fact turned off.

Ok, so I updated Palinchron and Peregrine Drake to use different uptap land code. So again, if you see a crash with the new version, let me know.
I don't have much time for testing today, but I did get through 1 game without a crash :)

Ok, I won't file this in bugs because it's not really a bug, it's more....well not an oddity....it's just that Anger doesn't work in french, or rather it only works if there is a basic montain in play.. I will have to flag it off for my french brethren.

Anyway, It's great to have all these changes and major bug fixes. i was really concerned about the shockland issue, it's great you found a way.
still experiencing game crashes though. will try to grab some screen cap.

I'll bet a lot of cards don't work for the French, if my suspicion is correct. And it's not because I hate French people and put in secret merde bugs :)
Check the subtype for your dual lands. They should be land - mountain and land - island for volcanic island, etc. I'm guessing you didn't update these in your translated version of the csv.

lol ! I will look up for these merde bugs  -no seriously, most of the game works while the cards are translated

Correct i didn't update these land types, actually I tried to be as little invasive as possible for this translation (I only translated the card name, rule text and text.res) because I didn't want some well working elements to quit working just for this translation - besides I do not have the knowledge to fiddle too much with the game :)

Go ahead and update the land types for the Duals and Shock lands, and you should be good. Right now, things like Daze and Gush won't work for you either, except for basic lands.

Played a number of games with the latest release and everything seems allot more stable, no crashes to report.

Just a note to all players, you still need to debug Momir into play for both AI and yourselves.

Really like that you have taken away the step of having to click on the displayed number on Momir when casting a card for either player. Speeds up the game and is much less of a hassle then it was!

Good show jatill. I'm looking forward to the hopeful implementation of Vanguard cards as I think that Momir has proven not only that it is feasible, but it will be a heck of allot of fun! 8)

Put a copy of Momir into your deck, and it should pop into play automatically for both players.

Rules engine card doesn't work for AI, right? It is not placed on its side of the table and new cards that interact with it, like Anger, don't work for AI.

OK, will do!

Thanx for the reminder. #-o

However, when you do so, this is what the Momir's looks like!

Do we have to have the Momir's have the red circle with the line through it though?
Kinda makes it look ugly, don't you think!

This doesn't happen when they are put into play manually.
Weird! :?
