Manalink update 16/11/2013 : Portals to Theros

Hi dudes: the new set is awesome! I also love so much that each set has its own card art of its original era.

Just a question: how are you going to update your previous decks? My Playdeck analyzer "sees" only 8 decks from the 200+ that I have (just in the EDH folder): do I have to install any newer version? Thanks!

Thanks stassy, but apparently I'm an idiot. When I change duel.dat nothing happens. is there some trick I'm missing?

Orion79> You need to check your PDA version (latest is 0.4b), ensure that PDA use the csv from latest update (Manalink.csv in the magic_updater folder), and that PDA check the correct folder (in one of my computer it's in PlayDeckAnalyser\PlayDeck but you can choose any folder which contain the deck files to update)

I don't know what's up with the formatting, but I tried to separate the relevant lines out.

I suggest you use a non destructive text editor like Notepad++, Notepad tend to do bad thing when you save specifics files

Did you use another text editor? If yes, unfortunately that would confirm Notepad from windows is deadly for any coding use but html (Wordpad might be a replacement if you don't want to install more software on your computer, but it's missing lot of goodies from advanced ones).

Btw if someone know how to show a good format for Duel.dat in Notepad++ (something like comments in colors and function), I would be in its debt

Yeah, I used an old app called Editpad. Probably should have in the beginning, but windows defaulted to notepad. Oh well.

Any update with what's wrong with drafting? I basically haven't played Portal to Theros at all yet since I only use the draft function and that doesn't work any more.

You can't play PTT in Draft yet because Draft mode has not been updated more than Avacyn Restored.

Draft still work if you create a random 40 deck with the special Draft card in it

Hi guys!
Just installed the new patch but since I had sooooo many issues ( the 2 you've already mentioned)I decided to start it all from 0. I downloaded the .zip Manalink 3.0- Portals-to-Theros.zip and it is working but my cards have no text!!
Any suggestions on how to fix this??

important question: i got a different frames for different cards and this is a huge problem to me because it's disface the game to me.
so,would any one please tell me How can i only use The Old (please take attention NOT NEW)The Old modern frames ??? (like modern frames in 2013 september manalink update)(like modern frames in onslaught of awesomeness update).
and any help from great guys like you is appretiated
