Well, Manalink friends, you holidays present is here !

In this great patch you will find :

Important Card Art File Changes - YOU MUST READ THIS

As of the January 2014 patch the card art file naming convention has been changed. Due to this change your currently installed ‘CardArtManalink’ folder and card artwork will need to be replaced with those in the two archives posted in the links below - BEFORE installing this months card art update files.
All card art update links posted before the date of this thread are now redundant.

I noticed 2 Archeney schemes unrecognized by PDA (instead of flagging them as UNCODED I get UNMATCHED because their cardimage name I am basing on are different from their coded name (Ignite the Cloneforge_.jpg and Which of You Burns Brightest_.jpg), is it intended?

Also the dreaded DraftSets file is back and Leyline of Sanctity is the last one not in yet :cry: ...

Edit: Noticed also that the number that is supposed to be the total number of coded card in the Manalink.xls decreased from 9286 to 8072 (cell C2:C13483), something happened? :P

As I mentioned in the cardart section - the card image naming convention has changed. This was primarily due to the two Archenemy schemes you mention including the illegal file naming characters '?' and '!'.
Korath then made the decision to adapt the CardArtLib.dll to accept the non-english characters in the card names, so the game would run with non-english Windows setups.
However, to make this work required all the non-english characters in the file names being converted to '_'.

Ignore the total number of coded cards in the Manalink.xls - It's only there to allow me to keep track of active new entries during data entry.
Although, I think your manalink.xls file is out of date, the current total is 9492 (C2:C13935)

Unfortunately this clashes with current PDA, will have to notify Ciroth of that so he can update it accordingly (getting UNMATCHED error with Lim-D_l's High Guard still).

Ah right, I used the xls instead of the csv and it's the latter which is up to date :P

Quick heads up. The watermarks.csv file which determines which cards display the cards watermarks and the futureshift and timeshift frames still hasn't been updated in the patch archive. Subsequently the futureshift and timeshift frames aren't being displayed.

Watermarks.csv was last changed October 25. I don't know whether the most recent one was put in PtT either. At this point I'd be surprised if it was.

This is a tad nit-picky and definitely not a bug, but I noticed the menu text during draft has changed significantly.

Previously it would just say "Sets 71-80" and you would click down to choose a set for pack 1. It seems like now the entire set name is displayed making it difficult to read since the text does not really come close to fitting in the box - such as "Rise of the Eldrazi - Magic: Th". See the picture below, but the point is it is just a really cluttered interface now.

Also draft crashes into a ditch if I make any of the packs "Born of the Gods" but I'm guessing that is a place holder?

I'm sorry to complain once again but there is still a big problem with commander : it considers artifacts as forbidden colors for the commander deck.... automatic game loss.
Now I would really like to test the new commander features.... but I can't even start a single game :cry: :cry: :cry:

Unfortunately enforcing the rules for Commander - EDH games for the last 2 updates goes from bad to worse as now you can't even start an EDH game.Lets hope V2 will be soon and all issues will get fixed.

Attach an EDH deck that should work and I'll manhandle it into doing so (there's a couple attached to the bug). I don't care for EDH myself so haven't been playing it nor actively developing, only responding to specific bugs.

I can't imagine "Sets 71-80" is more usable than "Rise of the Eldrazi - Magic: The", even with it truncated. At least you know the first set in the submenu.

We could make an alternate set of strings for it to display ("Alpha" instead of "Limited Edition Alpha", for instance), but having to update many related things in many places is how the legal sets in draft got so far behind in the first place.

The real fix is to make the dialog bigger. But that'll be very difficult - whatever tool the last person used to edit the resources in Magic.exe seems to have corrupted it to the point where almost nothing can parse them anymore, and nothing I've tried can edit them further without corrupting them to the point where Windows can't read them either. And the Windows api makes it unreasonably difficult to edit dialogs at runtime instead of in resources.
